Compass Government Solutions is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in Eloy, Arizona. In this role, you will provide essential behavioral health care and coordinate clinical operations at a facility serving individuals detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This position is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering comprehensive mental health services and supporting a therapeutic environment for a vulnerable population.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct care including counseling, psychotherapy (individual and group), behavioral analysis, and substance abuse education.
• Lead specialized programming within a Modified Therapeutic Treatment Community model.
• Collaborate with healthcare, medical, and contract staff to ensure continuity of care and appropriate referrals, including inpatient treatment when needed.
• Provide oversight to a multi-disciplinary team in implementing and managing integrated mental health programs.
• Respond to and coordinate care for urgent or emergent behavioral health situations.
• Serve as a consultant to other healthcare professionals and deliver training on mental health topics such as suicide prevention, abuse/neglect, and trauma response.
• Coordinate case management including community treatment placement, hospital transfers, and aftercare planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Develop and submit required reports, including weekly updates on detainees with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and individuals housed in segregation.
• Provide mental health assessments and legal evaluation reports as needed in coordination with ICE/OPLA.
• Support performance improvement activities and compliance with ICE/IHSC policies, directives, and accreditation standards.
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and the Privacy Act.

Telehealth & Additional Duties

• Deliver tele-behavioral health services when clinically appropriate and in accordance with IHSC Tele-Mental Health Services policy.
• Collaborate with local facility staff to coordinate care for remote patients.
• Optional: Obtain additional state licenses to expand telehealth coverage if desired.

Required:

• Education:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
• Experience:
  • Minimum of one-year experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, at the independent level as recognized in the state licensed, whereby clinical supervision is not required.
• Certifications:
  • A current, permanent, full and unrestricted license to practice clinical social work independently in the state where the duty station is located.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Preferred:

• Experience implementing and managing a new mental health treatment program and/or a Modified Therapeutic Community treatment model.(Preferred, not required)
• Experience in a detention/correctional or residential healthcare setting (preferred, not required).
